In addition to our set up and ongoing services, Raiseaconcern offer the following range of bespoke enhanced services. These are particularly attractive for medium to large organisations.
Design and Approval
Experience tells us that consultation with key stakeholders in advance of the introduction of a new Whistleblowing Scheme helps all stakeholders take ownership of the scheme. Equally, good governance requires that Senior Management and Boards approve such schemes/policies prior to introduction. Raiseaconcern can conduct or facilitate consultation and feedback sessions with staff, trade unions, regulators or other stakeholders.
We can prepare and make/assist in a presentation to your Senior Management team or your Board when seeking approval for your Whistleblowing Policy & Procedures.
Communications Plan for Launch
The planning of the launch/re-launch of your Whistleblowing Scheme is of critical importance. Raiseaconcern can assist by preparing a Communications Plan for Board Agreement. We can draft a CEO/Chairman launch letter and produce management and staff briefing packs.
We can also facilitate production of a video to appear on your Organisation's portal on our website. Employees who register on the portal can view a short video message from your CEO/Chairman encouraging them to raise concerns and reiterating their personal commitment to the protections offered under your Organisation's Policy on Raising Concerns (Whistleblowing Policy).
We can design jointly branded promotional aids and script an ‘interview’ with your CEO/Chairman for publication in your Staff Magazine or on your website.
Embedding and Training
A well designed training process helps embed a new or re-launched Whistleblowing Policy. Raiseaconcerncan design, facilitate or even deliver a bespoke training course to management to help them understand the process and secure buy in. We can also train your trainers. Generally, to reinforce management ownership, we recommend that training is delivered directly by Management or in their presence. But, if you wish, we will provide training directly to staff.
When your Whistleblowing Scheme is up and running, there can be times when you need assistance, such as in the conduct or review of an important investigation or the provision of feedback on how the Scheme is running. Raiseaconcern can help with all of this.
Investigations
Raiseaconcern.com operates an independent investigation service into workplace wrongdoing. For details, click here.
Year End Review of Whistleblowing Scheme
It is important to measure how your Whistleblowing Scheme is performing and the benefits that your organisation is achieving. This should involve analysing the nature of concerns being raised and how they are being addressed. From this you can see trends and learn lessons. It is also useful to see how you are performing against peers.
As part of the standard package, Raiseaconcern.com provides you with valuable Management Information (MI) to enable you brief your Senior Management and Board and even brief staff and other stakeholders on how your scheme has performed during the year. If you wish, we can enhance this process still further. Your organisation's representatives may wish to discuss your year-end MI Report and key messages arising therefrom. The opportunity to discuss the findings and conclusions can be scheduled as a face to face meeting or a conference call after the delivery of the report. We can also meet and report directly to your Senior Management or Board and answer their questions.
Legal Support
From time to time, it may be necessary to prepare and provide witness statements and attend to related court duty. Raiseaconcern will undertake any necessary action subject to us not being constrained by our own legal advice.
Feedback
Feedback is collected as a matter of course on all concerns raised. However, it is also wise to collect feedback from staff generally once a Whistleblowing Scheme has been in place for a period. You may wish to do this as part of your routine staff survey. Alternatively, Raiseaconcern can assist by undertaking targeted feedback surveys with staff which do not disclose the identity of staff to you as employer.
Training
In order to sustain your Whistleblowing Scheme, we recommend that you undertake an annual training/reminder for all staff on how the scheme works and that you audit completion. We also encourage seperate training of management or those likely to be the internal recipients of employee disclosures.
All of the above enhanced services do not form part of the standard set up or annual charges. They are subject to separate agreement.
