How does the process work and what are the benefits for employees?

Once your employer is registered with us, you can register and log in to our secure website where you can safely and securely raise a concern about workplace wrongdoing.  We also take concerns in person, by phone or by encrypted attachment to email.

We will pass on your concern to your employer but we will not disclose your identity to them or to anyone else (unless, exceptionally, we are required by law or court order to do so). See Mandatory Disclosure of your Concern.

Your employer will appoint someone to investigate your concern. To facilitate the investigation, while also protecting your identity, we will act as an intermediary between you and your employer throughout the entire process. We will provide you with updates throughout the investigation and feedback at the end.

You will have a facility, if you wish to use it, to attach evidence of your concern in the form of documents, photographs or videos.

And you can do all this from the comfort of your home PC or your mobile device using our highly secure website and processes. We recommend that you do not use a ‘work’ device if you wish to protect your identity, as usage may be traced to you.

Our highly trained staff are available to advise and support you at any time before, during or after the process.  You can call us between 8.00am and 10.00pm Monday to Saturday.

If, in the future, you feel someone has suspected that it was you who raised the concern and you have suffered adversely as a result, you can contact Raiseaconcern and we will guide you on how to claim the protections of your Organisation’s Policy on Raising Concerns (Whistleblowing Policy) and the Protected Disclosures Act 2014.  The risk of this should be small, as Raiseaconcern do not disclose your identity to your employer.

If your employer is not registered with us, you can still Recommend an Organisation, indicating that you have a concern to raise. We will bring this to the attention of your employer and set out the benefits of registration, but in doing so we will not disclose your identity, unless you want us to.
